SAM LIVERSIDGE-Defender (20), initially signed for the Bucks mid-way through the 2008/09 season on-loan from Sheffield Wednesday. Sam impressed in 9 appearances for Buxton before a hasty recall to Wednesday where he occupied the first team substitute’s bench for several matches. Released by the Sheffield club this summer of 2009 and returned to the Silverlands where he started to find his feet at non-league level as the season progressed making 29 (7) appearances. Sam will be looking to form a solid defensive partnership with Gregg Anderson this season although he has also proved to be a competitive midfielder when called upon.
