SCOTT MAXFIELD-Midfield/Coach (34), recruited in summer 2007 as player-coach from Stalybridge Celtic with whom he had held a similar position, spending 2 seasons at Bower Fold, following a near 6-year stint with Barrow where he won several player-of –the-Season awards. Started out with home-town team Doncaster Rovers, moving on to Hull City and making over 50 Football League appearances before initial non-league experience with Gainsborough Trinity and Doncaster again. A UEFA ‘A’ qualified coach, ‘Maxi’ made 43 (3) appearances last season and won the Players’ Player of the season award for his work in the ‘engine room’ of the team.
