MICHAEL TOWEY-Midfield (26), exciting attacking midfield player who followed in the footsteps of elder brother Chris to the Silverlands in November 2005, signing from Sheffield junior club, Sportsman Roy Hancock. Has developed rapidly through the leagues on the back of Buxton’s recent success and won the Players’ Player-of-the-Season trophy in 2007. Has 35 goals to show from his 212 (12) appearances for Buxton to the start of this campaign including 37 starts last season when he was hampered by an injury picked up in pre-season.
