nigel keogh - coach
Nigel plays two important roles at the Club as 1st team coach and also Head coach of our prestigious Academy here at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium. His playing days were spent at Crewe Alexandra and Chester and he also captained the County of Chester side. He has previously coached at Hyde United and run international academies including Edukick Manchester and Ellesmere College in Shropshire.

Jennifer has a background in education, student support and safeguarding and oversees the management of the Academy programme, from recruitment and trials through to day-to-day operations. She is the go-to person for any queries you or your family may have about your course, including funding, kit, meals, transport and any other support you might need whilst on-programme.
collette lumbert -
Academy progress coach
Collette has come from the sports industry having manged leisure facilities for many years, moving into PE teaching for 15 years before joining Buxton and Leek College. Her main role now is Progress Coach with responsibility for the student journey throughout their time at the College and their progression beyond.
Carl has worked in further education for 15 years and has a wide range of experience teaching within academy sports programmes.
As the lead tutor for the Buxton FC Academy programme, he has a passion for ensuring all students achieve their full learning potential, enabling them to have maximum career options on completion of the programme. He also has a keen interest in football, currently working towards his UEFA B qualification and managing at step 7 level within the central Midlands league.
