Based in England UK, home of the Premier League, Buxton Football Club has partnered with the University of Derby to offer an exceptional opportunity for young footballers from all over the world to fulfill their dreams.
Boasting one of the best 4G pitches in Europe, our idyllic location, with several iconic stadiums including Old Trafford, the Etihad and Anfield nearby, places you at the heart of England, the country that gave the world football.
We are proud to partner with the University of Derby to deliver our educational programme, voted Top 10 in the world for international student learning experience.
The highest performing eligible players will be selected to train with our Development Squad and First Team preparing for a career in football.
Our two year Foundation Degree Programme in Sport Performance and Analysis education and football course at a glance:

The programme also offers the opportunity to:
• Train several hours a day
• Compete in Step 7 of the non-league pyramid
• Utilise the latest in wearable GPS and video technology
• Work with our Coaching Team (UEFA-A and specialist coaches)
• Monthly assessments in the University Sports Centre with its state-of-the-art biomechanics and performance analysis suite
This is a two year course which, once completed, gives you a stand-alone qualification or can be built upon by progressing onto the BSc (Hons) Performance Analysis and Coaching Science degree at the University of Derby.
We also offer a six month football-only* programme giving the opportunity to train and play under our expert coaching team here at Buxton FC.
