Buxton won the battle of the ‘Bucks’ on Saturday with Luke Brennan scoring deep into injury time for John McGrath’s men following being reduced to 10 men midway through the second half. McGrath made three changes from the side that lost to Hereford on Tuesday night with George Ward, Ryan McLean (for his 1st start for the club) and Tai Sodje coming in for Johnston, Coleman and Viggars.

In a game littered with cautions and eventually a red card for Ward, Buxton left it late with Brennan netting in the 96th minute in a reversal of last Saturday at Marine when the Crosby side were reduced to 10-men but too won it late.

The Bucks are soon back in action when Curzon Ashton visit the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium this coming Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm. The Tameside outfit lost 3-0 to Merthyr Town on Saturday and it should be an early return for Jack Stobbs to the Silverlands who is now at Curzon following his release in the summer.

Late winning goals always show the drama of football—unpredictable, emotional, and capable of turning the night around for fans. That same unpredictability is what makes sports betting so engaging, where one moment can change everything. Providers like https://sbcdirectory.com/company/soft2bet capture this energy by offering live events and betting platforms that replicate the excitement of the pitch in digital form. Much like a stoppage-time winner, online gaming delivers those thrilling moments when everything comes together at once.

What a dramatic finish! Brennan’s late-on strike in the 96th minute was pure theatre—especially after going down to 10 men. That shows real grit and determination. “Block Blast Cheats” aside, Buxton showed they’ve still got that spark! Let’s hope they ride this momentum into the Bank Holiday Monday clash against Curzon Ashton.

What a dramatic way to snatch the points! Brennan’s late strike build now gg shows real resilience after going down to 10 men. Monday’s clash with Curzon looks like a good chance to build on that momentum back at the Silverlands.
