We would like to express our sincere thanks to Rick Adrio following his decision to leave the Club after a number of years running the Development Squad, including overseeing the Under 18s, to take up a role at New Mills. During his time at Buxton FC, Rick and his team played a vital role in not only providing football for local talent, but also encouraging players to step up to the First Team as and when required. Also moving to New Mills are Development Squad secretary Jon Duckworth and former Under 18's manager/coach James Howe and we wish them all well and thanks for all their efforts at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium. Moving forward, our Academy, which launches this September with around thirty full time footballers, will fulfill the role previously covered by the Development Squad. Our Under 18s team will carry on under the management of Mark Heywood and Paul Jenner.
