Bucks Poor Run Continues

Will Trueman deservedly won the Man-of-the-Match award from the sponsors on Tuesday night.

The Bucks finally found the back of the net on Tuesday but still couldn’t get anything out of the match with King’s Lynn Town despite dominating possession. But yet again only two shots on target (from eleven created) in the 90 minutes tells its own story.

Two changes were made to the starting line-up, with Douglas and Coleman coming in for Ward and Gilsenan, and the same formation was kept from the game with AFC Fylde on Saturday. There was a quiet start to the game with loan-signing Joey Dawson crossing early on but there were no players running in to capitalise being the best of the early Buxton attacks. Former Stockport County centre-half Festus Arthur headed over for the visitors from a Clunan free-kick before the Bucks started to dominate proceedings with a Douglas cross being headed away before Coleman could take advantage on 23 minutes....Full Match Report HERE

The result meant a 14^th defeat in 23 games for the Bucks since the victory over Chatham in the FA Cup and still leaves the question of how to convert possession in matches into goals.

This Saturday the Bucks make a first-ever trip to Merthyr Town, with a 3pm kick off, before returning to Tarmac Silverlands action the following Saturday against Kidderminster Harriers.
