What a contrast! Last Saturday's exhilarating F.A. Cup success proved to be the climax of a splendid 10-match unbeaten run but, totally unexpectedly, on returning to NLN action 'the Bucks' have now lost twice at home to teams in the bottom 7 of the table. Tuesday's defeat to bottom-club, Southport, could be attributed to the 5 changes made to rest players, but for the visit of Chester, with no injuries to inhibit selection, 'the Bucks' were at full strength. However, the momentum that the string of victories brought has, at least temporarily, been lost as the well-supported visitors twice took the lead & then held it for the last half-hour to complete a hat-trick of consecutive Silverlands successes....Full Match Report HERE
On Tuesday a re-arranged Enterprise National League North fixture takes 'the Bucks' to newly-promoted Bedford Town (at 7-45 pm) for the first time before returning to the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium on Saturday at 3 pm to host Southport for the Emirates F.A. Trophy, Round two tie.
We have extended defender Louis Stephenson's loan from Hartlepool for another month. Louis has impressed in 8 (2) appearances for the Bucks, scoring one goal.
Tickets for our Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie at Cheltenham Town will be distributed via physical ticket sales at the club. Season Ticket holders will have first priority, followed by those who hold a ticket to our First Round match. Further info as well as club travel details will be announced in due course.
