Buxton picked up a convincing 3-0 victory against nine-man Bedford at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium to comprehensively end a poor run of home form and keep the hopes of a late play-off push alive. There was just one change to the starting line-up from Tuesday’s win at Leamington with Liverpool loanee Josh Davidson in for Will Trueman meaning Ashton Mee slipping back into his more familiar roll in midfield.
