Buxton Boss to join Academy Team

Following Academy Coach Frank Sinclair’s decision to take up the position as Assistant to the First Team Manager at League One side Doncaster Rovers, Buxton FC is delighted to announce that their very own First Team Manager Steve Cunningham will be taking on Frank’s role at the Academy, alongside his First Team duties.

Buxton FC Chairman David Hopkins said, “although of course Frank will be missed, we are confident that having Steve working alongside Academy Head and First Team Coach Nigel Keogh day-to-day in the Academy will be an extremely positive move for our students.”

Delivered in partnership with Buxton & Leek College, the Buxton FC Academy hosts two groups of 16–18-year-olds on an elite football and education programme. The students undertake full-time Level 3 sport and physical activity studies (equivalent to 3 A-levels) alongside an intensive practical training programme. Both squads also compete in the National Under 19s Alliance league, playing teams such as Tranmere Rovers, Preston North End, Crewe Alexandra, Wrexham AFC & Rochdale FC, as well as in the FA Youth Cup. This change can only enhance the overall experience of students within the Club, further strengthening the link between the Academy, Development Squad and First Team and making the potential for students to progress ‘up through the ranks’ even more tangible. Buxton FC wishes Frank Sinclair every success in his exciting new role.

As online shopping continues to grow, packaging has become a natural part of the customer journey. It is not just about protection anymore but also about how the order feels when it arrives. Customers often compare delivery experiences without even realising it. This makes consistency an important factor in packaging decisions. Businesses may need to adjust packaging depending on product type or season. Keeping a steady approach helps avoid variation in customer experience. It also makes operations easier to manage. Over time, packaging becomes part of how reliability is judged. Even simple improvements can have long-term effects. Many businesses use custom boxes UK when reviewing systems.
