We are back at home at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium as we face Chester in league action on Saturday 24th September at 3-00

The Bucks


The Bucks go into this game following them progression in the FA Cup last week against Alfreton. Debut goals from Luke Burke and Scott Boden meant The Bucks came out 2-1 winners against The Reds.


Recent signing Zak Dearnley has joined Northern Premier League side Liversedge on a dual-registration deal. This will allow Zak to gain valuable game time and all at the club wish him well.

Buxton have been drawn away to Bamber Bridge in the FA Cup and this tie will be played on the 1st October. The Club are looking at running a coach if we can get the numbers at a cost of £20. Names and numbers to David Brindley today please.


Opposition

Chester sit 12th in the National League North on 11 points from 8 games.


Last game they won 2-0 in the FA Cup against Pontefract Collieries with Kurt Willoughby scoring both goals.


The club nicknamed The Seals were last in league action against Southport as they came out 1-0 winners thanks to a Kole Hall goal.


Chester are unbeaten in their last 4 games.


The Blues have 2 players back from suspension for this game with Joe Lynch and Adam Thomas coming back in.

The club finished 16th in the National league North last season.


They play their games at The Deva Stadium.

As well as scoring 2 goals in the cup last week Kurt Willoughby he has 4 goals in the league so far.


The forward from Blackpool has previously played for York,Flyde and FC United Of Manchester.


Last time out

In 2019 a Reece Styche double for The Bucks and a goal from James Hurst meant that they came out 3-2 winners in a friendly.
