Fixture News..Following Saturday’s victory at Stalybridge, we return to Tarmac Silverlands action this Tuesday with the visit of Scarborough Athletic (7-45). The match will be all pay at the gate. As it stands at the moment we have no game scheduled for next Saturday (17th) due to Morpeth’s Covid problems. There is a chance a fixture may be scheduled at the last minute so please watch our social media outlets for latest news.

Club manager Gary Heywood has recruited two players in the last few days. Midfielder Kristian Scott returns to the club having originally signed when the manager joined the Bucks. He made 11 (1) appearances before injury curtailed his season last term.

We have also taken winger Billy Whitehouse from Welsh outfit TNS on a loan deal until the end of January. Billy came through the ranks at Doncaster Rovers, making 25 first team appearances before moving to Leeds United for a fee. After a brief spell at Guiseley he moved to Tadcaster Albion in 2018 before returning to the full-time game with TNS the following year. The club would like to thank TNS for their help in the recruiting of Whitehouse and he will be available for Tuesday nights’ match with International Clearance being confirmed.
