Cracking Entertainment With Gainsborough


Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Warren Clarke netted his second goal for the Bucks against Gainsborough.

There were more coming and goings in the playing squad before Saturday's entertaining 3-3 draw with Gainsborough Trinity. Right-back Matthias Curley (who was on target in the match) has been brought in from Hednesford with Callam Mendez-Jones moving in the opposite direction. Former Marine, French forward, Brett Mbalanda has also been signed. The Bucks are next in action on Tuesday with an away match at Newcastle Town in the Integro Cup with a 3pm kick-off.


Trinity,7 points clear at the top of a 2 months' form table, came looking to extend a 10-match unbeaten run and did so in a richly entertaining game. The very strong corner-to-corner wind blowing from the Railway End had a major impact, with only 1 of the 6 goals scored by a team facing it, but it added to rather than detracting from the spectacle as it created challenges for the players they mostly overcame....Full Report HERE
