We can confirm that Diego De Girolamo will end his seven-year association with the Bucks this summer.

Diego, who was signed by then manager Paul Phillips in July 2018, will forever be remembered as a club legend, having registered 120 goals in 230 appearances, with his final outing for the Bucks coming as a late substitute in Wednesday’s Play-Off Eliminator at Chester.

Chairman David Hopkins said “Diego has played a leading role in the club’s most successful spell over the last eight years and his name will be permanently etched in Buxton Football Club history.

He leaves with our very best wishes and amazing memories of some iconic goals.”

Thank you and good luck, Diego. You’ll forever be a hero at the TSS.

Wishing Diego De Girolamo all the best in his next chapter — he’s been a standout presence for Buxton FC and a fan favorite with good reason. Always tough to see a key player move on, but that’s football — full of transitions and new opportunities. Speaking of fresh starts, if anyone’s ever considered launching something of their own, this guide on starting an online casino in South Africa is an insightful read: https://www.softswiss.com/knowledge-base/start-online-casino-south-africa/. Like football, building something great takes strategy, timing, and a bit of risk. Cheers to Diego for the memories and good luck ahead!

Diego truly was unstoppable — like a pro blasting through the hardest level of TTunnel Rush, dodging every obstacle with precision. His time at Buxton was a masterclass in focus, drive, and dedication. 120 goals isn’t just a stat, it’s a legacy.
