Still receiving treatment are Zak McCourt, Sam Osborne, Jake Hull, Tommy Elliott and Jake Wright. Xander McBurnie was missing through illness, with Tom Walker added to the list after going off with an injury in the first half against Spennymoor. Connor Brown is suspended.

Team manager Craig Elliott's men still gave a creditable performance, edging possession and the number of scoring chances, but the visitors were decisive after 28 and 79 minutes.

Craig said afterwards: "Fair play to Spennymoor, they came here to do a job on us and succeeded.

"We've had a lot of injuries in the last five weeks. There's been illness in the camp this week meaning several of the lads were unable to train properly. It was a struggle to field a full side. But we'll work through it and come out alright on the other side.

"Week by week, game by game we will get to the level that I want. Now for Scunthorpe. It was difficult to accept the outcome of the first meeting with the very late abandonment and there'll be a lot of eyes on the re-run. We'll be giving it our best shot and hope to have a strong following, urging us on."

The match at Scunthorpe kicks off at 3pm on Saturday.
