Buxton suffered the double whammy on Saturday of losing for a 4th consecutive time, 3 of the defeats being at home, & of being eliminated at the first hurdle from the competition in which they last won a tie in 2020. Looking thoroughly out of sorts, Buxton saw Southport establish a 2-goal interval lead but, out of the blue, the hosts hit back to level with a brace of fine strikes inside 10 minutes only to lose the tie to a 2nd penalty award....Full Match Report HERE
The Bucks are next in action this coming Saturday with an away game at AFC Fylde and in other fixture news, we will be at home to Derby County 'B' in the Derbyshire Senior Cup with the match now confirmed for Tuesday 2nd of December at 7-45.
