Seven Is Heaven For Rampant Bucks

Diego...an 18-minute hat-trick

The Bucks progressed in the Emirates FA Cup on Tuesday with a convincing 7-0 victory over Belper Town. Manager Gary Heywood made two changes to the side that beat Radcliffe on Saturday with Shane Killock and Chris Dawson coming in for Matt Curley and Connor O’Grady and there were places on the bench for Godwin Abadaki and also academy products Ewan Catt and Dylan Bayes.

James Hurst gave the Bucks an early lead and it was 3-0 by half time with James Walshaw netting twice. Both sides were reduced to 10 men with red cars for Buxton’s matt Kilgallon and Belper’s Brodie Litchfield on 37 minutes. Buxton’s continued dominance after the break brought a further four goals with Walshaw completing his hat-trick and then Diego De Girolamo took centre-stage with a further hat-trick in the space of just 18 minutes.

The draw for the second qualifying round will be made at 1pm on Friday. Watch social media for news on this.

On Saturday we now entertain Whitby Town at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium at 3pm with payment at the turnstiles.

Next Tuesday we travel to Nantwich Town (7-45) and you must purchase a ticket in advance from the Nantwich website HERE. There will be no admission to the ground without a ticket bought in advance.
