Seventh Heaven For Bucks

Ash Young returned to the side against Grantham on Tuesday night.

What a way to win in the league for the first time-and at the 10th attempt! Grantham arrived in 9th place but suffered the division's biggest defeat of the season to date that was also Buxton's best home result in the league since a Boxing Day,7-0 demolition of Stocksbridge in 2012....Full Report HERE

The Bucks squad depth was again tested on Tuesday night with Kyle Harrison and warren Clarke being ruled out by injuries picked up against York City on Saturday. Brian Wilson was only fit enough to be named on the bench but the squad has been further reinforced by the signing of ex-Chorley midfielder Dale Whitham on a month's loan from Alfreton. Dale made a very competent debut against Grantham and in further player news we are delighted that Aaron Chalmers loan from Ashton United has now been turned into a full transfer and ex-Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Warren Clarke has also committed to the club.

This Saturday the Bucks have a very attractive league game for 'Non-League Day' with a visit to FC United of Manchester and next Tuesday we make the trip to Gainsborough United.
