Tuesday's match against Sheffield Wednesday will not now be taking place with no replacemant planned.
Our final pre-season match will be on Saturday with a visit to Warrington Town at 3pm.

I’m curious about Gator Hunters 2 because the concept is unusual enough to stand out. The idea of hunting a legendary alligator in the Florida swamps returns, but apparently the developers have more planned than simply changing the artwork from the first chapter. Nolimit City calls it a true sequel, so I’m treating it as a separate experience rather than assuming it works exactly like the 2025 game. I haven’t played it yet, which makes me cautious about giving detailed impressions. The early release is scheduled for September 29, 2026, and the wider release for October 6. Until the new features are confirmed, I think the most sensible thing is to wait and see what the finished version actually brings.
Well that's a bit of a letdown, I was actually looking forward to seeing how 50 crowns casino Buxton would shape up against a League One side like Wednesday, especially with the new season just around the corner. I get that these things happen with pre-season fixtures, but it's frustrating when you've pencilled it in your calendar and the replacement isn't even happening. At least they've still got the Warrington Town game on Saturday, so it's not a complete washout, but I can't help feeling it's a missed opportunity for the players to test themselves against higher-quality opposition before the real business starts.
