Goal-less draws can be dull and lifeless yet Buxton's first of the season was anything but as both teams were attack-minded and sought victory to the very end. Defences won the day but the improving visitors, particularly in the first half, were hard-pressed to keep a 'clean sheet' which they had achieved in victory last time out away, at Chorley, yet it was Sports who spurned the clearest opportunity of all near the end.

This Saturday we make the trip to the Deva Stadium to face Chester FC with a 3pm kick-off. Tickets for the match can be purchased in advance HERE.
