New Buxton manager Gary Hayward has been busy again this week in the transfer market with one out and three in. Winger Jude Oyibo has departed the club after making 49 (24) appearances and scoring 8 goals. Incoming are midfielder Kristian Scott from Hednesford Town who can boast Stoke City, Swansea City and Leicester City amongst his former clubs, Portuguese winger Rumenio Barai has joined from Marine and exciting former Glossop North End youngster Ethan Padden has signed on a dual reg from Chapel Town. With midfielders Callum Chippendale, Warren Clarke and Rod Orlando-Young still a few weeks away from being fit, further squad strengthening is expected before Christmas.
For a second consecutive week Buxton earned a deserved point in an entertaining encounter versus a team favoured to take all three at the outset when ninth-placed Nantwich stood eleven places higher and had won 6 of 8 NPL home fixtures, whereas the visitors had yet to win away in the league. What's more, 'the Dabbers' had been impressive 2-1 winners in the August first meeting. Full Report HERE
