The Bucks return to league action this coming Saturday with a vital home match against Farsley Celtic, kick off at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium is 3pm. The winding up order served on North Ferriby United two weeks ago has helped move the Bucks in to 5th place in the league table, the final play-off position, a situation that was also helped last Saturday by Gainsborough losing at title-chasing Warrington Town.
The match this Saturday brings the league leaders to the Silverlands and Farsley are no slouches on the road this season with 12 victories from 17 matches. The return match earlier in the campaign ended in a 1-1 draw in very blustery conditions in Leeds with Brad Roscoe leveling with a 25-yard pile-driver for the Bucks.
The 1st team and reserve squad enjoyed a friendly at the Silverlands last Tuesday and manager Paul Phillips (Pictured) will have a near fully fit squad to pick from on Saturday. An encouraging stat this season is that league attendances at the Silverlands are nearly 50% up on last term and with 3 vital clashes to come that percentage is likely to get higher.
The club will be running a coach to the league match at Matlock Town if there is enough interest, at a cost of £10. Seats can be reserved by contacting Mark Shenton on 07964544139.
