The Bucks completed their pre-season campaign with victories over an Accrington Stanley xi last Tuesday at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium and away at Stafford Rangers on Saturday. The Accrington team were defeated 3-0 with 1st half goals from Sam Tomlinson (Pictured) and Liam Ravenhill and after the break academy graduate Connor Brady added a third. On Saturday second half goals from Tomlinson and a trialist earned a two-nil victory. The pre-season matches produced six victories from the nine matches with clean sheets being kept in the last seven games.
Next Saturday we start our new Vanarama League North campaign with a home game against promoted Leamington FC at 3pm. Manager John McGrath will be looking to finalise the squad this week before the big kick-off.
