It has been a very encouraging week for the Bucks with two victories in the latest pre-season matches.
Last Tuesday the Bucks won the Markovitz Cup with a 4-1 victory at Matlock Town with goals from Trueman, Brennan, Ward and Johnston. Former Buck Ben Sault scored for the hosts.
Saturday saw a very entertaining encounter at the Tarmac Silverlands with the Bucks coming out 3-2 winners over a talented Manchester City Under 21 side. Ryan Viggars gave the Bucks a first half lead before Luke Brennan doubled the advantage on 56 minutes. City hit back through American stalwart Cavan Sullivan and a Divine Mukasa penalty before Brennan won it for the hosts with a fine left-foot shot. Full Match Report HERE
The next pre-season match is this Tuesday night at 7-30 when we entertain Stockport County ‘B’ at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium.

Massive congratulations to the lads - what a week! Two quality wins, loads of Retro Bowl goals, and that Markovitz Cup coming home! Brennan was on fire, and the whole squad looked sharp. If this is a sign of things to come, we’re in for a cracking season. Come on you Bucks!
