Grant Shenton with some great saves at Basford

The Bucks made it seven league games without defeat with a splendid 2-0 victory at Basford United, who started the day in second place. The postponed league match at home to Warrington Town will now be played on Tuesday 24th of March at 7-45.

Hard-earned but deserved victory at 2nd-placed Basford, extended Buxton's unbeaten league sequence to 7 games. Coming a fortnight after the draw at table-topping South Shields and one week following the 5-1 thrashing of rock-bottom Stafford, Saturday's achievement must surely convince any doubters that Gary Hayward's team has turned a corner, big-style! The promise of a fruitful, entertaining end of season programme is there for all to see….Full Report HERE
