Buxton secured their first win in six matches with an impressive victory on the road at Merthyr Town. There were surprises in the Bucks line-up with Kirby, Brennan and Young all moved to the bench with returns for Johnston, Gilsenan and Paul Cooper, who returned to the Buxton goalkeeping position for the first time in a league match since mid-October.
