23/03/2019 Buxton Reserves 6 Halebank 0

A resurgent young Bucks side put an understrengh Halebank to the sword at Church Lane, New Mills on Saturday. The Merseysiders were beaten 6-0 as Buxton dominated from start to finish. Sam Kilner opened the scoring on quarter of an hour as he finished a fine individual run with a strike into the top corner. Kilner then turned provider for the next three goals. Sam Cowley fired home from the edge of the area to make it two and Luke Jackson tapped in the third from a corner. The home side made it four shortly after half time when Ethan Carter headed home a cross from the right wing. Alex Palmer had worked hard up front all game and as the visitor's tired, he got his reward with a brace of goals in the last ten minutes. Manager, Rick Adrio will be looking to continue the recent good form when the Reserves entertain title chasing Blacon next Saturday, again at New Mills FC's Church Lane ground.
