Buxton FC are pleased to announce that Harry Balfe has signed a first-team deal with the Club. Academy player, Harry Balfe, who has been involved with the first team in preseason, has also agreed a deal with Droylsden FC on a dual registration basis. This move will give Harry a great next step on his journey in Senior football and he will continue to work with the Bucks to aid his development.
We are also pleased to confirm that Luke Evans, a graduate of the Bucks Academy, has agreed a first-team contract with the Club. Luke has also agreed dual registration terms with New Mills FC for the upcoming season. The Millers will provide Luke with an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Senior football alongside working with the Bucks.
𝙅𝘽 𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
“Its really important we develop our own young players at the club and give them a pathway to senior football. Both Harry and Luke have been with us through pre-season, and have added to our group throughout. They will be given development plans and development loans to give them exposure to senior football. It’s really important for the next generation of young academy players to see a cohort breaking into senior football. With Harry, Luke, and Dylan Mantle they now have that.”
