Orford F.C were the hosts on this occasion and punished individual mistakes by the Bucks to win 3-0. The goals came on 25, 31 and 62 minutes. In a game that saw the Orford keeper dismissed in the 42nd minute, Buxton created fourteen clear goal scoring opportunities. On five occasions, a Buxton attacker only had the keeper to beat, leaving the management team of Adrio and Mills scratching their heads as to how the Bucks failed to trouble the scorers.
